Sibling Artistry began with a shared love for creativity and craftsmanship, rooted in childhood memories and family traditions. Jennifer Donley Burrell and Jonathan Donley, siblings with distinct artistic talents, have combined their passions to create a unique collection of hand-crafted pieces that bring joy and beauty into homes. Jennifer’s journey started in 1995, crafting polymer clay sculptures and glass ornaments under the name Makin’ Faces. Over the years, her creativity evolved, incorporating upcycled plush animals and exploring different mediums. With a Master’s Degree in Fiber Arts from the Savannah College of Art and Design, Jennifer’s passion for textures, colors, and nature inspired her latest endeavor: hand-painted art rocks that add whimsy and charm to any space.
Jonathan’s passion for woodworking began in childhood, learning the craft alongside their father. He found inspiration from his college mentor, Russel E. Reis, and began turning bowls in 1999 after inheriting a lathe. For Jonathan, each piece of wood holds the potential to become something beautiful and functional. His work reflects the joy of transforming raw materials into art that tells a story.
